Neil Blest - BUC Volunteer Health Expo Co-ordinator

Birmingham Metropolitan CollegeA wonderful opportunity has opened up for two health expos to be held in Birmingham this month. We have been invited to hold health expos for students at the Sutton Coldfield and Matthew Boulton Campuses of the Birmingham Metropolitan College, over a two day period.

A representative from the college has specifically requested that the students receive a health evaluation to determine current physical fitness and a consultation on how to improve and obtain better health through lifestyle changes. Some of their participants will be health & social care students.

We will be undertaking the first health expo at the Sutton campus on the 23rd of March. We will then follow on with the second health expo at the Matthew Boulton campus on the 24th of March. Both events will run from 9am - 5pm.

Assistance is needed to support these events through your active participation during the health expo and by your vigorous promotion of these important opportunities in your churches to secure man power for the events. As these events are for students in college it is required that we meet them in the week.

I know this has come at short notice and during a working week - sometimes that’s just the way God opens doors.

If you would like to be involved in either of the health expos, please contact Neil Blest at neilsam97@hotmail.com, or call 07810 470 402. Download Campus Maps and Addresses.

If you are unable to support these events by your personal attendance, please commit these events to the LORD in your personal and corporate prayers. Many thanks in advance for helping to make these events a success.
