Innovation means soul winning. At Rochdale Seventh-day Adventist Church, we have made it a central focus to not only pray for a refined church and community, but to also implore our skills so as to pace them with the modern technologies and mindsets.

With this accord, Rochdale Church Plant Elder, brother Irvin Reid came up with the idea of a Rochdale Church Website, which was to be then used as an evangelistic and public relations tool. One of our newly baptised members, Brother Collins Bunjira, was coincidentally working on Internet evangelism with Muslims and Hindus, and was able to employ his skills towards developing a themed site-map for the Church.

The plan was taken on board, and on the 3rd of February 2010, the site construction had by then completed. A day after the web site was made live, on the 4th of February 2010, Elder Reid received a call from a gentleman from the local community, who had been looking for a SDA Church to attend. Directions to locate our worship centre were given to him, and he and his wife attended Sabbath School and Divine service the following Sabbath.

It was taken as symbolism of the site being dedicated and approved by the hand of God, that the visitor found the newly published web site. The family have been attending ever since and they have even invited guests to come along with them for fellowship. We have also been advised that the rest of their family will be joining us from the Philippines, and will all be attending the Rochdale Seventh-day Adventist church.
