Egerton Francis

Pastor Egerton R. Francis, Ministerial Association Secretary and Trust Services Director, is an ordained minister with over 30 years experience; having served as a District Pastor, Area Coordinator, Conference Executive Secretary and Conference President. He has served in his current positions since June 2008, providing pastoral support, training church leaders and coordinating the Church’s Will making service.

Pastor Francis’ greatest desire is to see the Church grow numerically and spiritually. He finds it satisfying and rewarding to serve his fellow ministers and the church at large. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Cynthia, 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

An Association for Seventh-day Adventist Pastors

The Ministerial Association of the North England Conference exists as an association of all Seventh-day Adventist pastors, their spouses and families, elders and Bible Instructors to:

  • Celebrate the Call to Ministry
  • Care for Ministers in Ministry
  • Cultivate Growth in Ministry
  • Communicate the Gospel in Ministry

Responsibilities of the Ministerial Association:


1.   To provide pastoral care, support, visitation and affirmation
2.   To recognise and provide support to pastoral spouses and families
3.   To provide classes and materials to assist and train pastors to train and delegate ministry to their elders
4.   To provide models of evangelism to pastors
5.   To give guidance and inspiration to young people to enter pastoral ministry
6.   To provide an internship plan for young people entering ministry
7.   To provide opportunities for professional growth experiences for all pastors each year
8.   To provide and distribute Ministry magazine to the pastors
9.   To encourage friendship and sharing of Ministry to clergy of other denominations
10. To make resources available for ministry
11. To provide recognition of pastors at and in retirement
