Maintenance & Updating
We would
like to give advance notice to all our members that on Wednesday and Thursday, 26 and 27
May, the NEC Office telephone system will be undergoing
essential maintenance and updating. There may be some disruption to
incoming and outgoing calls during this period. We apologise in advance

19 people cycled the 33 mile route from
Halifax to Bury on Sunday 2nd May, to raise funds for ADRA UK. The
riders, aged between 16 and 62, set off from Salterhebble Hill, in
Halifax, following the path along the side of Rochdale Canal. Each of
the riders wore yellow vests bearing the Adventist Church and ADRA
logos on the front, and ‘Haiti Sponsored Canal Bike Ride - Halifax to
Bury’ on the back...

we have 1217 persons booked in for Camp Meeting. There are still places
available on site for the weekend.
Thanks for the promotion and please continue to promote Camp Meeting in
your churches. Our theme this year is “Lift Up the Trumpet” and we will
be focusing upon the Second Coming of our Saviour.
Remember too, that we will be having a 3rd evening commitment service
for the 10-16 year olds with their own invited speaker, Pastor A J
Grant.

Meeting on Rota Basis
WANTED: Friendly, observant,
perceptive helpful
people to form two teams at Camp Meeting: one to greet & usher
and the
other to arrange furniture and equipment throughout the hall.
WHERE:
Camp Meeting - for
the Main Hall (the
FUN FACTORY) programming including Sabbath. We will operate on a rota
basis. To
