Welcome
to Issue 68, 8th April 2010Let the Christian Voice Be Heard!
It is troubling to observe that
traditional Christian values in a country that is considered to be
Christian are being rapidly eroded, not merely by the attitudes of
people but by the laws enacted by parliament. The Christian point of
view that historically has been the foundation of our values and laws
is being discounted because often the Christian voice is not being
heard or is being drowned out by a humanistic and rabidly atheistic
agenda.
It is time for Christians to stand up and be counted
and let their voices be heard. This week's Communicator highlights a
vehicle by which Christians are able to declare their position on a
number of important issues that affect the way we live. Below is an
article and link to a petition regarding Christian values in the UK,
which you may wish to act on as requested.
I think it is a
good plan, which Adventists and others ought to support. Please
download and photocopy it and have your members and other Christians
sign it or better still sign the petition online.
