Update on Haitian Earthquake

In the aftermath of the Jan. 12 earthquake that struck ten miles west of the Haitian capital, members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church are tallying the grim human toll. Top Seventh-day Adventist leaders in Haiti reported that, so far as it is known, the 7.0-magnitude earthquake killed 522 church members, the vast majority young people. More than 55 churches were destroyed, 60 churches partially damaged and some 27,000 church members left homeless...

Judy Fundraising for Haiti Disaster Relief

Judy Hamilton-Johannsen from the Middlesbrough church has been busy working to raisefunds in her local community for the Haiti ADRA Disaster Appeal. She raised £652.55 from her local school by holding a no-uniform day and having the students contribute to participate. She contacted the Holy Trinity School in neighbouring Stockton, who also held a no-uniform day raising a further £503.50...
