North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
The North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is a
community of Christian believers who are committed to living all of the
principles of the Kingdom of God. As a culturally
diverse group of Christians, our first loyalty is to model the citizenship
of the Kingdom of God. Our first duty as citizens of God's Kingdom is
to love God and all people, and in our congregations you can
expect to find love, warmth, friendship and acceptance.
Our
members are empowered to realise and express their spiritual
gifts and the resulting potential to fulfil the great gospel commission, which is to share the
message of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, rose from the grave,
and will return to this earth again.
Empower, Connect, Reflect, Seek
The work of the North England Conference is to
- Empower all members of the NEC to fulfil the great commission.
- Connect people with Jesus, and help them enjoy physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
- Reflect the love of Christ and proclaim the Gospel to a dying world.
Seeking the soon return of Christ, we strive to exemplify His life and teaching as we proclaim the everlasting gospel to a dying world.
Each Member a Missionary
Driven to witness by the love of God, we encourage our members to take ownership of the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and we seek to empower them by providing Christ-centered support and training.
The mission of the North England Conference is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the context of the Three Anagels Messages found in Revelation 14:6-12, so that people may come to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and grow into mature, committed disciples for Him.
