The Conference President is the Chief Executive Officer of the Conference. He has charge of all the different aspects of Conference work, such as evangelistic projects, church schools, and the activities of the different departments. He also supervises the pastors and other church workers, and chairs the Executive Committee of the Conference, and various sub-committees. The most important unit of the Seventh-day Adventist Church organisation is the local church. It is the responsibility of the President to ensure each local church is resourced for the fulfilment of it's mission.
