The Executive Secretary assists the Conference President in carrying out his duties.

The Department of the Executive Secretary, also known as the Secretariat, deals with administrative and legal matters pertaining to the North England Conference. 

In addition secretariat provides statistical and archival information, handles all matters relating to pastors and other church workers and provides reports to the board of trustees.
